Mimesi is a recessed light designed specifically to hide in the home walls. Once installed, it will appear as a ledge of the wall, an exposed gap from which filters the light; when off, it creates a play of light and shadows dictated by the three-dimensionality of its shape and the engraving on it of the natural light in the house.

This lamp become the perfect combination of architecture and lighting, and an excellent replacement for the usual applique. Unlike the latter, it does not become a disturbing element, in contrast with the linearity of the walls, but becomes their natural and fluid continuity.

Mimesi consists entirely of plaster reinforced with hemp. The front hood and the rear block, to be fixed to the wall, are produced separately by casting plaster on male-female mold and the light source consists of a strip of LED chip.
